Peach Chia Jam Recipe
A naturally sweet peach jam packed with fiber and summer flavor.
Instead of store bought jams, we’re addicted to making low-sugar, high fiber jams with chia seeds.
And this recipe is one we’re going to be using all summer long: on toasts, in oatmeal, and paired with our hormone-supporting beeya seed cycling blends.
Fiber packed, seasonal, and absolutely-freaking-delicious. Plus it’s only 4 ingredients and so easy to make. You are going to thank us for this one.
Makes: 1 jar
Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen peaches, chopped into smaller pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds (we used white chia seeds)
Serve With:
- Greek yogurt
- beeya seed cycling blends
- Granola
Instructions:
- Combine: Add peaches (for less texture use frozen peaches that are peeled or peel fresh), honey, water, lemon juice, and chia seeds to a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Simmer: Stir frequently and cook for about 5 minutes, until the peaches soften and become juicy.
- Mash: Use a fork to break down the peaches to your desired texture (Or for extra smooth, mix with an immersion blender). Continue simmering for another 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Cool: Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Store: Transfer to a clean jar and store in the fridge.
- Serve: Spoon over Greek yogurt, then top with beeya seed cycling blends and granola.
