Strawberry Magnesium Ice Cream Recipe

A creamy strawberry protein ice cream made with cottage cheese, protein powder, and magnesium for a dessert that supports relaxation and recovery.

Freeze Time: 12 hrs

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp grass-fed gelatin
  • 2/3 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla protein powder
  • 2 scoops beeyavibe magnesium powder
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Bloom Gelatin: Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the milk and allow it to hydrate, then gently heat while stirring to dissolve.
  2. Blend: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  3. Freeze: Pour into Ninja Creami pint and freeze for at least 12 hours (or see alternative instructions below).
  4. Spin: Remove from the freezer and spin on lite ice cream.
  5. Respin: Respin once or twice until creamy.
  6. Serve: Scoop and enjoy immediately.

No Ninja Creami machine? Here are some alternative instructions:

After step two when you blend everything smooth, pour the mixture into ice cube trays. Allow to freeze, then blend into an ice cream using a food processor or high speed blender, you may need to add a splash of milk.
