Ingredients
Cake:
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups oat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cloves
- ¼ cup milk of choice
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Crumble:
- ½ cup oat flour
- 3 Tbsp melted butter or ghee
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- Sprinkle of sea salt

Instructions:
- Preheat: Heat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 baking dish or cast iron skillet.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, and spices until well combined.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, egg, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking dish.
