Fiery Pom Paloma Mocktail

Makes: 1 mocktail
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: None

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp pomegranate juice
  • 2 slices habanero or other chili pepper (extra for garnish)
  • 1 scoop beeyavibe magnesium powder
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • Ice
  • 1/4 cup grapefruit juice (save a wedge as garnish)
  • Sparkling water or kombucha (to top)

For the rim:

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp coconut sugar

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the rim: In a small dish, combine the sea salt, smoked paprika, cayenne, and coconut sugar. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into the rimming mixture to coat evenly.
  2. Muddle: In a cocktail shaker or small mixing jar, combine the pomegranate juice, habanero, beeyavibe, and lime juice. Muddle well.
  3. Strain and pour: Add ice to your prepared glass, then strain the muddled mixture into the glass.
  4. Top: Add the grapefruit juice and top with sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Garnish: Add a slice of habanero and a wedge of grapefruit (dipped in the rimming mixture) for a fiery finish.
