Fall Apple & Hummus Toast Recipe

Fall Apple & Hummus Toast is for you Maple-cinnamon-kissed apples atop a generous smear of creamy hummus, all on a warm crispy toast. It makes the perfect sweet and savory delight for a must-try autumn snack.
Prep time: 10 mins
- 1/2 apple, diced
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp plain hummus
- 1 toast (we used sprouted grain toast)
- walnuts or beeya
- sage or thyme
- Add the diced apple, maple syrup, water, and cinnamon to a small saucepan and cook the apples over medium-low until slightly softened and coated in a light caramel. You may need to add a bit more water during the process, it should take about 8-10 mins.
- Spread the hummus on the toast then top with the maple apples, as well as the other toppings. Enjoy!
